Calling all future officers! On March 25th, 2023, CPD will hold a Hiring Blitz at Charlottesville High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Doors open at 9 a.m. All attendees should arrive no later than 9:30 am. All you need to bring is yourself, a photo ID, and dress in appropriate athletic clothing & tennis shoes for the forecasted weather.   

No experience is required! Our hiring event will consist of filling out an application (if needed), taking our written POST exam and the LAWFIT physical agility test, and interviewing with a CPD officer, civilian staff member, and  community member. We will provide light bites and refreshments.
